Proposition 65
PROPOSITION 65
What is it?
Recent updates have been made to Proposition 65, also known as Prop 65, which is a law that requires companies to notify California residents if any of their products contain even one of the 996 chemicals on the Prop 65 list. These chemicals are known to cause cancer or reproductive harm and the Prop-65 warnings help California residents make informed purchasing decisions.
What does it mean for you, the Honey-Can-Do customer?
Should any of our products manufactured after September 1, 2018, contain one of those elements, we will communicate the potential risks to California residents by detailing the Prop 65 information on the product page on honeycando.com and on our product's in-store packaging.
What is Honey-Can-Do doing about it?
You will not see the Prop 65 warning labels on any of the Honey-Can-Do product pages on honeycando.com, or on any Honey-Can-Do packaging, because none of our items currently being manufactured contain any of the chemicals on the Prop 65 list.
We at Honey-Can-Do have spent a great deal of time and resources conducting materials testing and updating our processes to ensure all our products do not contain any elements on the Prop 65 list. We have a department led and staffed by engineers whose primary goal is ensuring our products are of the highest quality.
We will continue to strive to offer products void of these chemicals and look forward to providing our customers with fabulous, functional and safe household solutions.
